Last night my husband and I returned home from a 10-day Eastern Caribbean cruise. We enjoyed fantastic sunny, warm weather as we sailed on the Royal Princess Cruise Ship. We made reservations with local dive shops to take us scuba diving while the ship docked. We did two-tank dives each day at four different islands. We visited St Lucia, Antigua, Barbados and St Kitts. I used my GoPro camera to take some underwater video while my husband took photos with his underwater camera. We saw many beautiful fish, both large and small as well as a variety of corals.
This semester I’m enrolled in two online classes. They are this Multimedia class and the Course Design, EDUCA2720 class. I’m working toward completing my TOUT certificate and plan to finish the required coursework for the certificate this summer. Taking these online classes is a convenient way to stay up-to-date with the latest technology. As I looked over the syllabus there were several applications I’m not familiar with and I look forward to learning how to use them. I hope to be able to use these skills to obtain a corporate online trainer position.
I’m currently a board member of the Northwest Sailing Association serving as the technical director where I maintain the club’s website. I’m in the process of creating an online course titled, “Managing the NWSA Website” to train future administrators of the sailing club.
