My Post: NWSA Assessment Initial
Introduction Module: Introduction & Wordle Assignment
This graded assignment uses a subjective and formative assessment to determine student learning outcomes. This type of assessment encourages reflection, collaboration and self-assessment. Also, based on their responses it will help in refining the assignment. A subjective, performance-base assessment was created because it requires the student to do a task with an emphasis on personal reflection. It also requires the instructor to use human judgment for scoring. A rubric was created to inform the students of the requirements and expectations for the assignment and fairness in grading by the instructor.
Objectives: Upon completion of this orientation, you will be able to:
Create a "Word Cloud" in Wordle.
Interact and communicate with your classmates and the instructor.
Submit assignments using the Discussion Board tool.
This assignment aligns with all of the learning objective.
Unit 1: Exploring NWSA Admin Area assignments also use a subjective assessment to complete; a questionnaire, a graded assignment and a short answer quiz. Using an assessment of a short answer test will indicate if the learner understands the material presented in the module.
